Suburban Legends is a scripted, single-camera mockumentary series following the fictionalized trials and tribulations of the real-life, Orange County-based, independent pop/rock band Suburban Legends as they struggle with control issues, boring day jobs, dating, obsessed fans, playing shows, and their manager’s outrageous schemes intended to make them famous.

Shot documentary-style with the band members playing caricaturized versions of themselves and performing their own original music, this scripted series has a unique upbeat style and reality feel.  In each episode, the band confronts surreal, yet true-to-life issues and events that indie bands actually face; from the politics of booking concert venues to whacko homeless people crashing rehearsals.  Suburban Legends is an uncensored look into the crazy lives of seven flawed, yet charming, rock star hopefuls.
